She got the idea for a Christian music video when approached by Jim Farrell of New Visions Video Communications. The song that was selected for the project is called "Signs and Wonders," which speaks of how people have forgotten God. It speaks of how God's people will be known by their love.

Finding a production site was the next problem encountered after the song was selected. Farrell thought an old abandoned church would make a good backdrop for the video. The church that was picked was the Union Falls Gospel Church on Frederick Road one quarter mile north of the Old Springfield and Frederick Road intersection. It is presently owned by Charles Gaver.

"It was a long and exhausting day and probably one of the hardest I've ever worked musically," says Magee, "I thought spending a month in the recording: studio was hard but doing a music video is both hard musically and physically."

There are many shots a video director has to take before he gets usable footage and then comes the editing. "You could easily put in a hundred hours or more into a three minute video," says Farrell.

She hopes to market the video sometime early in 1997. She hopes that Christian Broadcasting Networks will air the video and it will open up other ministry opportunities.

Magee will be in concert at the Salem Mall on Dec. 13 at 6 - 7 p.m. She will sign her new release at the Giving Tree Christian Bookstore at the Salem Mall immediately following the concert. Area children will sing with her during part of the concert. "Invitation" can be found soon in area Christian book stores.

She teaches in the Huber Heights School System.
