Army Capt. Robert C. Knutson has been decorated with the Meritorious Service Medal. The medal is awarded for outstanding non-combat meritorious achievement for service to the United States. Knutson is an armor officer and task force analyst at Fort Irwin, Calif. He is the son of Sharon Knutson of Union, Ohio.
