Installation services for Rolland E. Daniels, senior pastor at Salem Church of God in Clayton, will be held at the church Sunday, June 23, during the 10:45 a.m. service. Dr. James L. Edwards, President of Anderson University in Indiana will be the guest speaker and Leonard Snyder, Director of Ohio Ministries for the Church of God, will conduct the charge to the Congregation.
Pastor Daniels began his work at Salem Church in January of this year. He, along with his wife Ellen I and their two sons, Tyler and Seth, moved from Anderson, Indiana to accept the post of senior pastor which had formerly been held by Dr. David Sebastian.
Rev. Daniels is currently working at Ball State University toward his Doctorate of Education in Leadership Development for Community and Non-profit Organizations. He earned his B.A. at Anderson University in Business Administration and his Master of Divinity at the Anderson School of Theology.
Pastor Daniels has served as an associate pastor in one of the Anderson, Indiana churches and as senior pastor in Muskogee, Oklahoma and Lansing, Michigan.
He served the past three years as Director of Vision 2 Grow, an initiative designed to help implement church growth and leadership development for churches across the nation. He believes the church is called to evangelism, discipleship, nurturing and training its members for various ministries.
