Your Aug. 21 issue indicated that comments by Mr. Imbus make Mr. Smith tired. I believe the same can be said about comments by Mr. Smith - at least they make me tired.
Last week I also received a flyer from the city of Englewood which tells me that my fire department and emergency medical services are at stake. I would expect the same protection and service regardless of the Nov. 5 merger vote, or regardless of whether Englewood obtains control of those services.
Perhaps Mr. Smith and Mr. Kemper should take a rest at our sister city until after the election Nov. 5.
I do not appreciate the city of Englewood using my tax money to pay for printing and distributing the anti-merger propaganda. Maybe they are using the Continental Cablevision franchise fee for that purpose.
