The Northmont communications and transportation infrastructure is superior to most metropolitan areas and suburbs of larger cities. Telephone communications are provided by both Ameritech and General Telephone. Power is provided by the Dayton Power and Light Company which serves almost the entire Southwestern part of Ohio. The Dayton International Airport is less than 5 miles from the Northmont Area and there are two excellent local airports which handle executive aircraft. It has direct access to both Interstates 70 & 75. Public transportation is provided by the Montgomery County Regional Transportation Authority.
