Guided and independent research in a varied collection of Jewish reference works and literature leads students to discover the participation and accomplishments of the Jewish people in the modern world: their contributions to philosophy and the arts; their history in Europe and America; the growth of Zionism; the Holocaust; and the development of Modern Israel.
