Silhouette's for Women, a retailer specializing in personal needs for women experiencing cancer has announced the expansion of their Randolph Township store. Silhouette's is still located in the Randolph Plaza on N. Main St. The new store has twice the floor space. Silhouette's has also opened a new store on Far Hills Ave. in Centerville.
Silhouette's offers full service from post-mastectomy products to wigs and turbans. Chemotherapy patients receive personal attention and a special discount.
Owners, Deborah Adams and Brenda Mitchell, stated that increased growth and sales volume required them to enlarge the store. Silhouettes has been nominated on three occasions for prestigious business awards. In 1994 Silhouettes was nominated by the American Cancer Society for the "Enterprise Spirit Award". 1996 has found them nominated for the Better Business Bureau "Eclipse Award" for outstanding customer service and integrity. They are also in the running for the Small Business of the Year sponsored by the Dayton Business News.
